YouSendIt Site Status and Update

As many of you are aware, YouSendIt experienced intermittent service disruptions Tuesday from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. (PDT). Towards the end the day we identified a hardware component in our core infrastructure that didn’t provide a failure notification. Once this failure was identified manually, we were able to get the site back up and running.

 

We know you depend on YouSendIt for your business and we are taking steps to ensure this never happens again. We sincerely apologize to all our customers for any inconvenience this disruption caused.

And I see the problems are still occurring.  I really just want to complain:  I don't use the service often, but when 5 out of 6 times I attempt to recently I'm not connecting, that's a problem.  These hiccups are unacceptable and are driving our company towards other solutions.

We are also still exhibiting symptoms from this outage.  At least a dozen times this morning, I have tried to access the folder section of our YouSendIt account, only to get page not loading errors.  Tried opening in both IE9 and latest version of Firefox with failure happening in both.
