Tech Tip Tuesday: Receiving Files Using Your YouSendIt Dropbox
While you probably already know that you can send large files with YouSendIt, you may not have known that there’s a simple and efficient way of receiving large files from your customers, vendors, friends, or anyone else that may not have a YouSendIt subscription. With YouSendIt’s Dropbox feature, anybody - with or without a YouSendIt account - can send files to you by simply visiting a unique URL. The Dropbox feature is available on almost all paid accounts.
YouSendIt Dropbox
Consider this a personal mailbox. Users simply click on your personal Dropbox URL, enter their email address, upload any file up to 2gb, add a subject line and message if they want, and hit submit. It’s just as easy as sending an email!

Sharing Your DropBox URL and Receiving Files
When you share your unique Dropbox URL with clients, they can use it to upload files directly to you:
You then receive an email notification when a file is delivered to your Dropbox, and the file will be accessible for download from your YouSendIt Inbox:
Note: Some users, depending on account type, will find the procedure for setting up and configuring your YouSendIt Dropbox to be a little different. If you need assistance, feel free to contact support.
- What are your thoughts on YouSendIt’s Dropbox feature? Please feel free to let us know in this thread. Thanks!

I love using the dropbox. It's a great way to have my designer send me album and book designs which are normally large PSD files. They can easily send me the files without having to have their own yousendit account.

Works well but would benefit greatly if instructions were displayed on the upload page informing users how to select multiple files for sending. This is a feature that is not mentioned anywhere.

I thought that I used to be able to find my dropbox URL on the YouSendIt Express tool. Now I can't seem to find it and have to log on to the web app. Has that changed? Why can't I get the dropbox URL from Express?
