Unable to select file from computer - "Upload From Desktop" button missing

YouSendIt technical support is currently investigating reports of the "upload from desktop" button missing from the send page. 

This button is an Adobe Flash component and requires Flash version 9 or higher.  The current version of Adobe Flash is 11.4.  If you are experiencing this issue, please check your Flash version: http://www.whatismyflash.com/

Or update Flash on your computer: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Updating Flash will typically resolve this problem.

If you already have Flash version 9 or higher and are still this problem, we would appreciate it if you could comment on this article and provide information on your operating system, browser and version (example IE 8), and Flash version, to help us better understand this issue.

I am having a similar problem, although the buttons do appear in a vertical fashion (one and then the other below it) neither is functional.  I don't know whether this fits the criteria exactly but I will post my info just in case.  I am not able to upload to our drop box (nor can my customer).  If you need more info let me know.

OS: Windows 7

I experienced the same problem using Safari tonight - the Upload from Computer button was missing altogether. I saw that some other users had similar problems with Firefox, so I tried it in Chrome and the button was there & worked. Hope they get this fixed in general soon since I prefer not to have to switch browsers mid stream while working.

After having the same problem using Windows Explorer 9, I used Google Chrome and the Upload From Desktop button was there, re-opened Windows Explorer 9 and its still not there?!?!?!?

Reinstalled latest version of Flash.

Since this bug renders Yousendit un-usable and in 2 weeks time Yousendit have yet to provide even a workaround (much less a fix,) suggest a full refund to customers having this problem.

Having the same problems.  Was able to send one file this morning, then went to send a second to the same recipient and upload was blocked.  I have a Mac OS 10.7.5 and flashplayer 11.4.   I received 20 emails confirming that the first file had been sent.  

VERY FRUSTRATING.  I agree, need online tech support now, or a refund!

I'm also having the same problem. Im running MacOS 10.8.2.  Safari and chrome with flash 11.4. My yousendit express doesnt function properly either - i cant login. I can't deal with these issues, I have clients across the world depending on receiving files TODAY.  Very disappointed

I don't want to comment and help you - I expect you to help me! I have just installed the latest Flash version. My operating system in Windows 7 and I am using Firefox 16.0.2. Please contact me about this with a solution.

Hard to believe there is no comment or response from yousendit to all this. Never seem to have any interruptions in charging for the service.

I can view the "Upload from Desktop" button but it is unresponsive when I click it.  I am, however, able to click on "upload from YouSendIt" button.

Using a trial of yousendit.com and it worked well for a few days, but now the "Upload from desktop" button is no longer appearing when the "send" page is opened.

So sorry this is a problem. Will discontinue account subscription.

I'm running an iMac with Flash Player: 11.5.502 installed.  I'm missing the button to upload from my desk top.  When I used yousendit last month it was there.  I'm on a tight deadline.  The client needs the files now and I'm paying for this.  Not happy.  I've been on hold with support for an hour and still no one has picked up the phone.

The buttons were visible and I was able to upload from desktop just last week with this same setup.

I've been experiencing numerous problems since installing IE 10.  My OS is Windows 7 Home.  The version of Flash currently installed on my machine is 11.6.602.180.

Not only is the upload button not showing on YouSendIt, videos are not appearing on certain sites - e.g., Xfinity Video page.  Only the sound plays.  I use GeekSquad for support and they are dumbfounded.

Since everything seems to be displaying correctly in Firefox, I'm now using it as my default browser.  It may be old news to Microsoft, but I've not seen anything posted about these issues yet.  Just sent an email to Microsoft Twitter account letting them know.  Hope it helps!
