"Upload Only" Settiing on the Desktop App

If you'd like to have the option to Upload Only via the Desktop App, allowing you to upload files to your online folders without them automatically syncing to your computer, please give kudos to this post. Thank you.

Yes, that would be a good idea. I use two computers, and some files on the most-used one are not necessary for my other computer.

Upload only feaure, and a transfer/gateway feature would be great, that once the files has been uploaded, it will be removed from the local folder.

Or - as the folder structure then doesn't necessarily have to exist on finder / explorer level,

an app like yousendit express with the folders displayed would be ideal.

Actually yes. Make all the folders accessible with yousendit express with all the send features already there.

that makes the perfect app.

and in that app we have proper transfer status etc. which is also immensely important imo.

Please don't concentrate too much on the sync features..it's cool to have for sure, but I have the feeling most of your customers use yousendit because of the file transfer/storage features.

At least all I know do so.

And the competition on syncing features is very strong anyway with significant advances on system level (OS manufacturers etc.)

ok, some good information.  I use this as file storage to fee up my emails, faxes etc.  I keep saving to the you send it folder on my computer.  they are always there.  however it is getting larger.  I am concerned that I need more space.  How do I get in touch with someone to have them evaluate my account so I know I have a current subscription, enough space and I am paid. 

i only send large files periodically and this is not the main purpose for me using you send it.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

i am referring to the littl icon on the lower right of my desktop that when I save something to it turns into a red sync circle and then a few minutes later I can walk to the kitch to the laptop and the file is accessible there as well.   sorry for the simplicity but the cloud thing is confusing to me and my itunes and iphone have a million versions.  So you can see where I am coming from.  this application with you send it seems very simple and to good to be true.

That would be a good thing to have.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to upload files that are on a different hard drive than where the yousendit folder exists.

I'm not talking about manually uploading files but to mark an arbitrary folder to be "sync as upload only".
