Deleting a free Lite account

This article applies to completely deleting a a Free Lite account.  For information on cancelling a free trial of one of our subscription plans, click here.

 

YouSendIt currently does not provide an online option to permanently delete a free Lite account.  While we will accommodate requests made through a support ticket, we HIGHLY recommend not having your account deleted.  Removing your account will delete all account history and all files stored immediately, and there are no recovery options.  The free Lite account has no billing associated with it whatsoever, so even if you don't have the need right now for your account you will never be charged and can simply use it at your convenience.  Further, keeping your account intact will simply the process then next time you receive a delivery through YouSendIt, or someone shares content with you using YouSendIt.

 

If you would just like to be removed from our marketing emails, please login to your YouSendIt account and click on the My Account link at the top. Then click on My Account Settings on the left and unchecked any marketing messages to be removed from.  You can also watch a video here.

 

If you choose to have your Free Lite account permanently deleted:
Please click on the Support tab at the top of the page. Next, click Billing Assistance, and fill out the form that appears. We will email you a confirmation and a reply must be sent back from the registered email address to confirm the cancellation.

I want my so called free account cancelled and deleted immediately. I do not want to be billed for an account I will not use and do not want. I trialed one large file transfer that did not work and no longer want to continue with your services. Understand this clearly - Immediately cancel my account permanently.

I am having a free lite account as well but i had sent request to cancel. However i realize that i was charged SGD18.99 for this! Can you pls help me out? I want to cancel this account & a refund please.

I am being charged $14.99 monthly for a free trial that I could not get out of.  I am unable to send large files because my imac doesn't allows this.  I want a refund! This program is totally useless to me.

I have a light account and am being billed $14.899 per month. I tried to cancel months ago but now theyare asking for my cc info and charges did not stop. I want a cacelation, explanation and refund of all charges immediately.

i was unable to send the videos i needed to send successfuly and its too expensive for what you offer i want to cancel my whole account immediately. I do not want to be charged at all. Thank you

HI,

Im getting billed for this service. Im trying to cancel the “subscription” by following your step-by-step video. YET, I can’t see any “My Billing Information” tap… THEREFORE I can’t cancel my billing subscription. Why am I getting billed then?

I don’t have any other account, or any other Lite Account.

Please completely cancel everything related with YouSendit.. and please reimburse me my money.

Cancel my account with immediate effect, I do not accept any charges whatsoever for services you have not provided. Do not charge my account for any monies.
